Terms of Service
The rules for using Corvée, including accounts, AI features, billing, and your responsibilities. Effective June 7, 2026.
Overview
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Corvée, a software service operated by brands & things (“Corvée,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Effective June 7, 2026. Questions: terms@corvee.io.
By creating an account, accessing Corvée, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use Corvée.
Corvée is a professional productivity tool that helps users organize, rephrase, and transform work notes into timesheet and billing-ready entries. Corvée is not a payroll provider, employer, HR advisor, tax advisor, accountant, attorney, labor compliance authority, or system of record for legally required employment records.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age required to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction, to use Corvée.
Corvée is not designed for children and is not intended for use by anyone who does not need professional billing, timekeeping, or work-note organization tools.
If you use Corvée on behalf of a company, client, employer, or other organization, including by signing up with a company email address, you represent that you have permission and authority to do so.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Corvée currently provides individual accounts. If you use the service in connection with a company, employer, or client relationship, you are responsible for making sure your use complies with any policies, contracts, confidentiality duties, or legal obligations that apply to you.
You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current.
What Corvée Does
Corvée helps users turn messy work notes, voice input, and text descriptions into structured timesheet-style entries. This may include organizing dates, hours, projects, comments, action items, contacts, acronyms, and related work references.
Corvée may use AI systems to help generate, rewrite, classify, or structure entries. AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your intended use.
You are responsible for reviewing, correcting, approving, and validating all output before relying on it for billing, payroll, reporting, client submission, tax purposes, legal compliance, employment records, or any other purpose.
No Professional Advice or Compliance Guarantee
Corvée is software. It does not provide legal, payroll, tax, accounting, HR, employment, labor compliance, financial, or professional advice.
Corvée does not determine:
- Wages
- Overtime
- Employment classification
- Payroll eligibility
- Tax treatment
- Invoice validity
- Labor compliance
- Contract compliance
- Whether a timesheet entry is legally sufficient
- Whether a record satisfies employment or regulatory recordkeeping requirements
You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of your records and complying with all laws, contracts, client requirements, employer policies, tax obligations, payroll obligations, labor rules, and recordkeeping duties that apply to you.
You should not use Corvée as the system of record for legally required employment records.
Customer Data
As between you and Corvée, you own the content and data you submit to your account, including timesheet entries, project names, contacts, acronyms, notes, comments, and related reference data.
You grant Corvée a limited right to process your data only as needed to:
- Provide the service
- Operate and secure the platform
- Process AI and transcription requests
- Save and display your entries
- Manage your account and subscription
- Provide support
- Improve the service using anonymized and aggregated information
- Comply with legal obligations
You are responsible for the data you submit. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information, including sensitive personal data, health data, financial secrets, passwords, regulated information, confidential client data, or information you are not authorized to share.
Privacy
Your use of Corvée is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how AI processing works, how voice input is handled, how cookies and local storage are used, and how you can contact us about privacy questions.
For privacy questions, contact: privacy@corvee.io
AI Processing and User Review
Corvée uses AI features to help transform text and transcribed voice input into structured work entries.
You understand and agree that:
- AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading.
- AI output may require review, correction, or rewriting.
- Corvée does not guarantee that generated entries accurately represent your work.
- You are responsible for reviewing and approving entries before using them.
- You should not rely on Corvée for emergency, critical, safety-critical, payroll-critical, legal, regulatory, or legally required recordkeeping purposes.
Corvée is a tool to help you organize and draft work records. It is not a substitute for human review.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Corvée.
You may not:
- Use Corvée for illegal, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or misleading activity
- Submit data you do not have the right to use
- Submit unnecessary sensitive personal data, health data, passwords, financial secrets, or regulated information
- Use Corvée to violate labor laws, privacy rights, employee rights, client obligations, or contractual duties
- Enter fraudulent or intentionally misleading records
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, overload, scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, or bypass the service
- Attempt to bypass Free or Pro limits
- Share login credentials improperly
- Interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of the platform
- Use Corvée to build or train a competing product in a way that violates these Terms
- Use Corvée for emergency, mission-critical, safety-critical, payroll-critical, or legally required recordkeeping use cases
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Plans, Billing, and Taxes
Corvée may offer Free and paid plans.
The Free plan includes limited usage and limited access to certain features. Pro unlocks additional features and higher or unlimited limits, as described on the pricing page or inside the app.
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe or another third-party payment processor. Corvée does not see or store your full payment card number.
Prices may not include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Tax calculation and collection are handled by Stripe or the payment processor at checkout.
Discounts and promo codes are temporary, may expire, and apply only as shown at checkout.
Subscription Renewal, Cancellation, and No Refunds
Pro is billed monthly unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle.
You may cancel your Pro subscription through the app, Stripe billing portal, or another supported billing path.
If you cancel during a billing cycle:
- Your Pro access remains active until the end of the current paid billing cycle.
- Your account then reverts to the Free plan.
- Pro-only features become unavailable after the paid billing cycle ends.
- Your data remains in your account, subject to Free plan limits and these Terms.
No refunds are provided after payment, including mid-cycle cancellation.
Corvée does not offer a 14-day money-back guarantee, partial refunds, prorated refunds, or renewal refunds, unless required by law or expressly approved by Corvée in writing.
Failed Payments
If a renewal payment fails, your account may immediately revert to the Free plan and lose access to Pro-only features.
You may restore Pro access by updating your payment method and successfully upgrading again.
Corvée is not responsible for any loss of Pro functionality caused by failed payment methods, expired cards, payment processor issues, or billing information that is not kept current.
Exports
Exports are a Pro feature.
If you cancel Pro or your account reverts to Free, export functionality may no longer be available unless you upgrade again.
You are responsible for exporting or preserving any records you need for billing, tax, compliance, reporting, client, or personal purposes. Corvée should not be treated as the system of record for legally required employment records.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account through the app if the feature is available.
When you delete your account, Corvée removes active account data from its systems immediately. Deleted accounts may not be recoverable.
Backups may retain deleted data for up to six months before removal through normal backup lifecycle processes.
If you delete an account with an active Pro subscription, the subscription will be set to cancel at the end of the current paid billing cycle. Deleting the account does not create a refund right.
Corvée may retain minimal audit information, such as a deletion timestamp and non-personal deletion record, to demonstrate that deletion was completed.
Service Availability and Changes
Corvée may change, limit, suspend, discontinue, or modify features over time as needed by the business.
For material changes to paid-plan features or business terms, Corvée will provide at least 30 days of advance notice when practical.
Corvée does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times. The service may be affected by maintenance, outages, third-party services, internet issues, AI provider availability, payment processor availability, hosting issues, or other factors outside our control.
Third-Party Services
Corvée relies on third-party providers to operate the service. These may include providers for:
- Hosting
- Database and authentication
- AI processing
- Speech-to-text transcription
- Payment processing
- Analytics
- Email or service communications
Corvée is not responsible for third-party outages, third-party account issues, API changes, payment processor failures, provider errors, or third-party data handling outside Corvée’s control.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers’ own terms and policies.
Intellectual Property
Corvée owns the software, design, branding, name, logos, interface, workflows, documentation, and all intellectual property related to the platform, except for customer data you submit.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or exploit Corvée except as allowed by these Terms.
If you send us feedback, ideas, suggestions, feature requests, or comments, you agree that Corvée may use them to improve the product without compensation, credit, or obligation to you.
Corvée will only use testimonials, names, logos, or customer statements publicly after explicit permission is given.

- You violated these Terms
- You created legal, security, privacy, operational, or financial risk
- You abused, attacked, scraped, disrupted, or attempted to bypass the service
- You used the service for illegal, fraudulent, misleading, or harmful activity
- You submitted data you were not authorized to use
- You misused AI features or the platform
- Suspension or termination is necessary to protect Corvée, users, third-party providers, or the public
Termination for misuse may result in loss of access to the service. Corvée is not required to provide refunds for accounts suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms.
